To new endeavors

It was my freshman year of college when I became obsessed and fell head-over-heels in love with all things design. At the time, publication design was my outlet of choice, but I was inspired by it all. Packaging design, typography, interior design, web design. Anything and everything. 

It was about that same time that I discovered Google Reader (RIP!) and the wonders of the blogging world. I was hooked to the point being a of hardcore fangirl of blogs like Design Love Fest and Design Crush. I kept telling myself that I was going to do that someday. I was going to make a blog to share my passions and interests.

Well, college got in the way. I was too wrapped up in exerting myself in student media and internships and extra classes, that the time just wasn't there. So all of my plans and ideas got shoved into Chrome bookmarked tabs and Google task lists.  

But now, it is about to become real. Type & Other Drugs  is my personal creative outlet. It's where I will share what and who inspires me and what I'm still learning, plus personal and freelance projects.

I hope you'll follow me on this creative adventure.
